Oh, I downloaded this before it was disqualified from the jam and played it too before realizing it. Anyway, I liked this better than a lot of the other jam entries. The music and tempo of the game was nice and the story was interesting. Some enemies were a bit annoying to kill on the map though and the combat balancing could do more work. I was totally destroyed when trying to fight the birds on the cliff stairs.
Hey, thank you man. And yeah, I designed the game and enemies with the idea in mind that I wanted it to be a tough game. But one thing I need to remember is that I know all of the spawn points of the enemies, but a new player does not. It’s funny, because I actually thought the game needed to be harder. Haha.
And yes, the combat is the way it is because I wanted to make it so you are overpowered, but so is the enemy. But, I could definitely try balancing it out a bit more.
All in all, thank you for your comment. Feed back is very important, as this was my first game I’ve ever developed. Players input is extremely valuable to me, so I can keep improving on this game and future games.
